Direct Support Professional

 
A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is an at-home caregiver for people with intellectual or developmental disabilities caring for 4-8 clients per home. DSPs help clients reach their goals for more independence. This role is perfect for those starting a career in mental health, nursing, caregiving, health services or seeking a job that directly benefits others.

Residential Specialist

Residential Specialist Picture  

A Residential Specialist is key to ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality care in a CILA. This role includes providing orientation and ongoing training for new staff, scheduling direct care staff, and performing Direct Support Person (DSP) shifts as needed.
 The Residential Specialist handles medical appointments, including transportation and coordination with providers. They also support daily living skills and oversee equipment maintenance.
This position requires role-model behavior, crisis intervention, and a commitment to protecting individual's rights while promoting a respectful environment.

 

CILA Supervisor

The Supervisor oversees all aspects of assigned home environments, including staffing, team development, and maintaining a home environment conducive to the clients’ growth and development. They provide direct supervision to ensure the optimal health and safety of residents and staff.

Residential Manager

Being a Residential Manager means being at the forefront of  assuring that our homes provide exceptional care and support to the individuals who live in them.
The Residential Manager manages multiple CILA homes, ensuring individual care and adherence to policies. The role involves supervising Residential Specialists and direct support staff, managing daily operations, and maintaining high standards of care. Key responsibilities include hiring, training and developing staff, managing schedules and payroll, addressing performance issues, and effective communications and maintaining compliance with financial policies.
This position is essential for maintaining organizational standards and supporting a dedicated team in delivering high-quality care to the individuals we serve.

Team Leader

Team Leader Photo 
A team leader provides guidance, instruction, and leadership to ensure goal achievement. Team Leaders are responsible for training and managing team members, ensuring regulatory compliance and excellence in delivery of service to individuals served. They steer the team towards success by offering direction, motivation, and problem-solving support while monitoring progress. Team Leader specializations include leading Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional Teams or Residential Services Operations Teams.

Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP)

The QIDP provides support to persons with developmental disabilities by developing, coordinating, revising, and monitoring the overall plan of care for each individual as directed by state and federal regulations.
Choosing to be a QIDP can prove to be a fulfilling and rewarding career path for individuals who are passionate about assisting those with I/DD in reaching their maximum potential and enhancing their quality of life.
As a QIDP,  you will use your human services degree to lead program development and positively impact individuals, families, and communities while experiencing diversity in clients and challenges.
